“Between stimulus and response, there is a space. In that space is our power to choose a response. In our response lies our growth and our freedom.” - Viktor Frankl
Therapy.
Seeking therapy can feel like an exhausting process, but research shows that finding the right therapist is one of the biggest predictors of treatment outcome. The fact that you are on my page right now means you have taken that first and emotionally big step to reach out for support. You may be here because you are feeling stuck in old patterns of behavior, struggling with mental health issues for the first time, experiencing a difficult period of transition, or looking for something in your life to change.
I believe a foundational aspect of therapy is to feel seen, heard, and understood. My goal as a therapist is to co-create a warm supportive environment built on trust, authenticity, and collaboration. We all have a story about who we are, how we perceive others view us, and how we navigate the world. When working with people I strive to understand how someone’s narrative shapes their emotional, physical, and psychological well-being at the time they arrive in my office.
We are likely to be a good fit if you are looking for the following things:
Building insight into your patterns of behaviors and blindspots
Receiving evidence-based treatment, including concrete tools to manage distress that may be stemming from anxiety, depression, trauma
Working to improve and maintain healthy interpersonal relationships (i.e. partners, friends, family)
Overcoming life-changing events (i.e. loss, break-ups, illness, transitions )
Gaining a deeper understanding of emotions and how to regulate them more effectively
Navigating academic and work-related difficulties (i.e. burnout, perfectionism, avoidance, performance anxiety)
Exploring identity-related challenges
